Tried to get a photo of the old fountain at the Sunrise Mall food court... the water was off and it was full of pennies from like 2005.

I learned that sometimes the most interesting part isn't the big empty space, it's the tiny details people left behind. Anyone else find weird time capsules in these places?

That's over 8 billion pennies minted that year, they're literally everywhere. I still find them in my couch cushions and old coat pockets all the time. It's not even a surprise someone just dumped a bunch, they were practically falling out of the mint. Honestly feels like half the change from that decade was just 2005 pennies, lmao.
