Had a piston ring land crack on a Series 60 last Tuesday
Was doing a routine overhead on an '02 Freightliner and found the #4 ring land split clean in two. Anyone else seen these late model Series 60s start doing this more often?

Is it possible you're just seeing more of these engines hit high mileage now?

Drove mine over 200k miles with no major issues, just regular maintenance.
