Just dropped $300 on a bore scope for injector cups...

It paid for itself on the first job by spotting a hairline crack we would've missed. Anyone have a cheaper brand they trust for occasional use?

Honestly, that's a solid investment if it found a crack. For just occasional checks, the Teslong borescope from Amazon has been decent. Used it a few times on older Powerstroes, and the picture is clear enough to spot major issues. It won't be pro-grade, but for a couple hundred less it gets the job done without feeling cheap. Saved my bacon on a 7.3L that was seeping coolant.

How long does the battery last on that thing? I've been looking at cheap scopes but worry about them dying mid-check.
