PSA: A bad injector return line took me 4 hours yesterday
Thought I had a low compression issue on a 7.3 Powerstroke, chasing IPR duty cycles and buzz tests for 3 hours. Turned out to be a tiny pinhole in a return line spitting fuel at the connector. Anybody else waste a whole afternoon on a $6 piece of hose?

Did you pull your hair out trying to find that pinhole or did you finally just replace the whole line and hope for the best?

Oh I have a friend who went through this exact nightmare. She spent two full weekends with a spray bottle and a flashlight, spraying every inch of the line in the dark looking for bubbles. Found nothing. Finally gave up and just replaced the whole run from the valve to the sprinkler head. Turns out the leak was inside a fitting that was buried under concrete, so she never would have spotted it anyway. She still jokes about the three trips to the hardware store for parts that didn't fit.
