Tried that new DEF delete controller on my F250 and got a nasty surprise

I put one of those aftermarket delete controllers on my 2016 F250 last weekend, and after about 50 miles the truck went into limp mode and threw a P2002 code... Started smelling something burning too. Has anyone else had these things fry their DPF differential pressure sensor?

Burning smell is never good with these trucks. Did you check the wiring harness before you installed it or just plug and pray?

Plug and pray" - yeah that's how I killed my first radio install. I read somewhere that these older harnesses have wires that can short against each other if the insulation is brittle.
