My buddy told me to "just layer more colors" on my digital painting and it turned into a swamp monster
He said add 15 layers of green and blue for depth, but I ended up with a muddy mess that looks like a radioactive bog. Anyone else have a friend give terrible art advice that ruined a piece?

Your buddy was definitely trying to turn your painting into a bog monster speedrun. 15 layers is like using a sledgehammer to hang a picture, lmao. Sounds like you need a new art advice friend.
