Picked Procreate over Photoshop for my last 3 commissions
I had to choose between spending $10 a month on Photoshop or just buying Procreate for a flat $13. I went with Procreate and honestly it handled the 6000x4000 pixel canvas for a client in Austin way better than I expected. Only issue is the brush lag when I get past 50 layers on heavy files. Has anyone else jumped ship from desktop to iPad for their main workflow?

Nah, desktop is still way faster for big files and that layer limit would drive me crazy.

Wait, you're telling me you actually enjoy hunting for layers buried 40 clicks deep in some dropdown menu? I've spent more time squinting at my tablet screen trying to find a shadow layer than I have actually editing photos. Desktop might be slower to carry around, but at least I can see what I'm dragging without accidentally deleting my whole project.
