PSA: Don't blow $150 on a drawing tablet stylus pen

I picked up one of those fancy pressure-sensitive stylus pens last month thinking it would make my digital paintings smoother. Spent a full $150 at a local shop here in Austin just to find out my old $30 stylus did the same thing. The tip wore down after three days and the replacement nibs cost another $20. Anyone else fall for the hype on these overpriced accessories?

Hey @pat360, I stuck a matte screen protector on my tablet and never looked back.

the tip wore down after three days" yeah that tracks. i learned this the hard way with a Wacom pro pen a couple years back. ended up just going back to my old bamboo stylus and honestly my linework is the same if not better. those fancy nibs are a total scam. if you wanna save money on digital drawing just pick up a screen protector that feels like paper and keep using your old pen. the hype is real but not worth it.
