That fancy drawing tablet I bought kept losing connection mid stroke

I picked up a Huion Kamvas 13 about 3 weeks ago to upgrade from my old Wacom. The screen would just go black for 3-5 seconds every 20 minutes while I was working on a piece. Has anyone else had this issue or is it just my unit acting up?

This sounds like a USB power issue more than a defective tablet. Try plugging the tablet into a powered USB hub instead of directly into your computer. That fixed the exact same problem a friend had with their Kamvas 16 last year.

Wait, did your friend ever try using a different USB cable first? My buddy had a similar issue with his XP Pen and swapping the cable fixed the flickering right away. It turned out the original cable was just barely damaged even though it looked fine.
