TIL my art hit 10k views on a single piece, which feels weird.

Everyone says likes and follows are what matter, but seeing that view count on my abstract cityscape really made me think about who's actually looking. Has anyone else had a piece get way more quiet views than engagement?

Honestly that "quiet views" thing is so real. I had a sketch hit like 5k once with maybe three likes. It's a weird feeling for sure.

Feel that, @claire992. My stuff gets those ghost views all the time. Guess my art is just really good to stare at but not good enough to actually like?

Haha well technically 5k views is 5,000, not 5k likes right? But yeah I get your point, it's like they're window shopping your art.
