Wait, only one backup on your phone? I mean idk, maybe try a cloud save or an external hard drive next time. Stuff fails way less often when you have a couple real copies.

Honestly I get where @morgan_ward61 is coming from but having too many backups is its own problem. Tbh I used to save everything in three places and then I'd forget which version was the newest one. Ngl it caused way more stress and lost work than just picking one solid spot. Stuff can fail but overcomplicating it just means more things to mess up. Sometimes a single good backup you actually check is better than a bunch you forget about.

Ever have a file corrupt because your laptop decided to update right as you hit save? My tech fails are so reliable, I could set a clock by them. The uploader for that big autumn contest ate my entry last year, and my only backup was a blurry phone pic. Maybe the future is just me, a nervous wreck, saving the same file to five different places.
