Watched a kid on a Cintiq at a comic con last weekend and it wrecked my whole workflow
This 16 year old was cranking out full color panels in like 20 minutes while I was still noodling on layer masks. I asked him how he did it and he just said "I don't use brushes, I just use shapes." Has anyone else had their whole process shattered by a random stranger like that?

Picked my jaw up off the floor after reading this cause the same thing happened to me at a local art meetup. Some high schooler just slapping down geometric shapes like it was nothing while I'm over here trying to blend three different textures for a basic rock. I tried using the shape method later that night and my drawing looked like a robot threw up on a page. Pretty sure I'm just stuck in my old man ways forever.
