Why does nobody talk about how long it takes to render 4K animation frames?
Spent 4 hours last night waiting for a single 30 second clip to finish rendering on my 2022 laptop. I found out from a Blender forum thread that my render times would drop by like 60% if I just switched from CPU to GPU rendering. Felt like such an idiot for not checking that setting sooner. Has anyone else wasted a ton of time on something this basic?

Read an article saying GPU rendering is basically a cheat code for Blender users.

Learn the fundamentals first or your renders will still look bad.
