Finally chose bookmarks over browser history for saving articles and it changed everything
I spent years just relying on my browser history to find things I wanted to read later. I figured why bother bookmarking when I could just remember the date I saw something and dig through history. Problem was, after about 500 tabs open, my browser started crashing every few days. Six months ago I switched to just using the bookmark bar with folders. Now I have folders for recipes, woodworking tips, and car repair stuff. It takes me maybe 10 seconds to save something instead of leaving it open for two weeks. Has anyone else ditched the open tab system for something more organized? I'm still sitting on 4,000 unread emails though, so maybe I need help in that department too.

lol "dig through history" - i tried that once to find a recipe for this lemon chicken thing i saw and ended up going through like 3 months of history before giving up and ordering pizza. my bookmark game is weak though, i just have like 200 bookmarks that i never look at again anyway. its chaos but at least my tab count is down from 687 to a manageable 200 something. those 4000 unread emails though, i feel that pain deep in my soul.

Haha I feel that so hard. I swear every time I try to find something in my history I end up down a rabbit hole of weird stuff I looked up at 3am. Like who even was I that night I searched "can you freeze guacamole" at 2am? I never even made guacamole. But yeah those 4000 unread emails are basically a digital graveyard at this point. Maybe we should just accept that some of those are never getting read and it's fine. Honestly ordering pizza was probably the smart move in that situation.
