A senior dev told me to stop using Wi-Fi for my remote work setup and go hardwired instead

I was getting dropped calls and lag during client meetings in Medellin for months until he pointed out my building had 20 different networks fighting for airspace. Has anyone else had to switch to ethernet just to keep your job stable?

20 different networks in one building? That's insane, I thought my complex was bad with like eight visible SSIDs. It makes total sense now why your video calls were dropping like crazy in Medellin. Hardwiring is a pain but it beats getting fired over a spotty connection.

Ha, reminds me of when I lived in Thailand and my neighbor's router was named "Free WiFi" and I kept almost connecting to it.
