Banff coworking spaces are WAY overhyped for digital nomads

I spent 3 months working out of a shared office in Banff last summer and honestly it's a total scam for the price. Found out from the local tourism board that 80% of those "dedicated desks" are just temporary setups in hotel lobbies with terrible wifi. The average monthly rate was $450 CAD for a spot that dropped connection every 30 minutes. Has anyone else found a hidden gem in a smaller Alberta town that actually works for remote work?

Nah, I had solid wifi at a shared spot in Canmore for $300. Worked fine for me.

@blair_davis50 Probably got lucky with that Canmore spot, mine dropped calls every 10 minutes.
