I was dead set against coworking spaces until Bangkok proved me wrong
For two years I was all about working from cafes and hostels. Thought coworking was just paying extra for a desk and some free coffee. Then last month in Chiang Mai the wifi at my usual spot kept cutting out during a big client call. Walked into this place called Punspace just to use their internet for an hour. Ended up staying all day. Something about having a real chair and not hunting for outlets made me get more done in 4 hours than I usually do in 8. Anyone else have a setup they swore they'd never try but it actually worked?

Oh man, the "hunting for outlets" part hit me right in the soul (or maybe that's just my dead phone battery). I was the exact same way about coworking spaces - thought they were for people who wanted to pay extra to feel important. Then I tried one in Saigon after three days of cafe hopping and my back felt like it was 80 years old. The real chair thing is no joke, I actually sat up straight for once instead of hunched over a tiny table like a gremlin. Now I'm that person who shamelessly brings their own snacks and camps out at the same desk every day, which is probably annoying but at least I'm getting work done.

Is it just me or does every good idea start with someone being stubborn about it first?
