My lesson learned: overpaid for a coworking membership I barely used

I dropped $200 on a month-to-month coworking pass at a place called The Hive in Austin last spring. Turned out I only went there maybe 6 times because I kept finding quieter coffee shops or just stayed at my Airbnb. Has anyone else bought a membership and realized the vibe or location just didn't fit your work style?

Honestly I was the same way until I stopped trying to force it and just worked where I felt comfortable.

Yeah that's fair but I still think there's something to be said for pushing through the rough parts a little. Not like forcing yourself into misery, but giving it a real shot before deciding it's not for you. I ended up sticking with a few things I hated at first and now I actually sort of enjoy them.
