Finally got my garage wall cabinet hung straight after 3 tries

Been trying to mount this big wall cabinet in my garage for over a month. Kept getting it crooked or one side higher. Yesterday I tried a trick I saw online: clamp a level to the cabinet while you mark the screw holes. Worked perfectly first time. Anybody else have a hack for getting heavy cabinets level by yourself?

That level trick is genius, it's always the simple solutions that save you the most headache. It's funny how we make things harder than they need to be until someone shows us a better way.

Oh man, I totally get what you're saying but I have to admit I was the opposite for the longest time. I used to think complicated setups were the only way to get good results, you know? Like I'd spend hours overthinking every little detail and making things way harder than they needed to be. Then someone showed me a super basic level trick for hanging shelves and it just clicked in my head. Now I catch myself doing the same thing with other projects and it's kind of embarrassing how much easier my life could have been.
