I spent 3 hours cutting tile with a manual snap cutter for a backsplash before I finally bought a $90 wet saw.
Now I can't believe I ever tried to do it the hard way, so what's one tool you waited too long to get?

That wet saw purchase is a game changer for sure. What kind of tile were you trying to cut with the snap cutter that made it such a nightmare? I've seen people fight with those things on anything but the most basic straight lines.

Yeah, @wesley_hart, it was 12x24 porcelain tile... the snap cutter just wouldn't score deep enough without chipping the glaze. Trying to cut a skinny 2-inch strip for the edge of the shower was impossible, it would just break wrong every time. The wet saw made those cuts clean in seconds.

Ugh, snap cutters are the worst for anything tricky.
