Just spent $45 on a new caulk gun and it made sealing my bathroom tile a completely different job.
The steady pressure and clean release cut my time in half and left almost no mess, so what other basic tool upgrades have been worth it for you guys?

Cut my time in half" sounds nice but honestly a cheap gun works fine for me. Just gotta get the technique down.

Yeah I saw a thing online where this guy tested a cheap one against a pro model. The expensive one was faster for sure, but like @mary836 said, once you get the hang of it the cheap one does the job. It's all about keeping a steady hand and not rushing. The fancy tools won't fix bad technique anyway. I'd rather spend time practicing than a ton of money on a gadget.
