PSA: My bathroom tile saw kicked back a piece of slate and chipped the edge of my new tub last weekend.

I was cutting the last piece in my garage, and the chip was about the size of a dime, so I mixed some two-part epoxy putty, matched the color with a bit of acrylic paint, and shaped it before it fully set, which actually worked better than I thought it would. Has anyone else had to do a quick repair like that on a brand new fixture?

Wow, what acrylic paint color did you use to get such a close match?

Ugh, that's the worst. A tiny bit of white appliance epoxy mixed with a drop of gray paint usually gets it close enough.
