Question about the tile work I saw at the new cafe on Main Street

I stopped by that new coffee place downtown yesterday, the one in the old bank building. Their bathroom floor has this fancy herringbone tile pattern that looks great. But when I got up close, I could see the grout lines are all uneven and some tiles are chipped at the edges. It looks like someone rushed the job. For a place charging $6 for a latte, you'd think they'd get the basics right. Has anyone else seen a DIY project in a business that just wasn't done well?

I used to believe that small details didn't matter much in a busy space. But seeing a sloppy tile job in a nice cafe really changed my view. It makes the whole place feel less cared for, and you start wondering what else they cut corners on. That kind of rushed work just sticks out once you notice it.

My buddy's new apartment had crooked outlet covers and it drove him nuts every time he walked in.
