TIL my basement shelving project used exactly 100 linear feet of 1x12 pine board

I was cleaning up my receipts from the hardware store and added up all the cuts. It was for a full wall of simple, floor-to-ceiling storage in my Michigan basement. It surprised me because I just kept buying boards as I went, never thinking it would hit a round number like that. Anyone else have a project where the material total was a neat, unexpected figure?

That's so weird when that happens. I built a workbench last fall and when I was done I realized I'd used exactly one whole box of screws, like down to the last one. Felt like I'd won some kind of weird lottery.

No way, down to the last screw? That's actually impossible.
