A warning about using spray adhesive on zine pages

I was putting together a batch of 50 zines for the Portland Zine Fest last month and used a cheap spray adhesive to mount some photos. About 3 hours later, the pages started curling up at the edges and the photos peeled off. I had to reprint everything and use a glue stick instead. Has anyone else had adhesive ruin a batch like this?

Dude, why would anyone risk it with cheap spray adhesive for zines? I learned this the hard way too, back when I did a run of 100. Humidity wrecked everything, just like @noah135 said. The glue never sets right if the air is damp. You need a bone-dry room, basically a desert. And even then, spray adhesive can be sketchy. Glue sticks are the way. No curling, no peeling, no regrets. Stick to the basics for zines. It's not worth the headache.
