Hit 50 copies sold of my zine and it threw me off

I printed 30 copies of my latest zine about growing up near the railroad tracks. Figured that would last me six months. Sold out in two weeks and had to run 20 more. Now I'm wondering if I underpriced it at $4 or if people just really like trains.

oh man, that feeling when something sells way faster than you expected is wild. i totally get that "did i mess up the price or is it just a good topic" thing. maybe it's just me but when i put out my zine about fishing on the old river docks i priced it at $3 and sold out at a show in a day. it's a good problem to have but it also makes you second guess everything. idk, sounds like you found a real audience for that train story and that's pretty cool.

Did your friend who does those food zines ever have that happen to her? She put out that pancake one for $3 and sold like 80 copies in a week and totally freaked out about the pricing.
