I thought making a zine with just a single sheet of paper was a dumb idea
I mean, I always thought you needed at least a few pages to say anything real. But I tried making an 8-page mini-zine from one piece of printer paper after seeing a guide from the Austin Zine Fest, and it totally changed my mind. You can fit a whole story or a set of drawings in that tiny folded space, and it's super cheap to hand out. Has anyone else made a one-page zine, and what did you put in it?

Super cheap to hand out" is the real point here. It's a neat party trick for a single idea, but calling it a zine feels like a stretch. The format itself becomes the whole message.

You're right, it's basically a business card with a punchline. Calling it a zine is my attempt to feel fancy about a scrap of paper. The whole project is just me trying to justify buying a fancy paper cutter. It's less a publication and more a craft fail I decided to share.

And honestly that paper cutter is probably the most committed you've been to anything in months.
