Mixed up my zine pages and made a whole comic about a guy eating a bicycle

I was collating a 16 page mini-zine last week and stapled the middle spread upside down. Now page 7 shows someone chewing on a tire and page 8 has them sipping a handlebar smoothie. Has anyone else accidentally created a surrealist masterpiece from bad page order?

Oh my gosh yes! I stapled a batch of my mini comics backwards once and it turned into this weird story where a character was running away from a giant taco that had arms. Page 3 showed them getting chased by the taco's salsa splatters and page 4 had them hiding inside a quesadilla fortress. It made absolutely no sense but I kept it because it was way funnier than my original plot.

Gotta hard disagree here. Stapling pages wrong isn't creative, it's just sloppy. If you're making zines, basic organization should be the bare minimum. @holly_craig's taco story sounds like a mess too, not a happy accident. Surrealism is about intent, not just random errors from being careless. Fix the page order, fix the comic, and save the "masterpiece" talk for something that actually makes sense on purpose.
