Spent $40 on a corner rounder punch for my zine and it was a total game changer
I got tired of cutting all the corners by hand for my last 50-copy run, so I bought the punch on a whim. It cut my assembly time in half and made every page look super clean and pro. Does anyone have other small tool hacks that made your zine process way easier?

Oh man, that corner rounder sounds like a total lifesaver! I spent so many hours with scissors on my first few zines and my fingers hated me for it. A long-arm stapler really is the best, I second that tip from the other comment. Also, a paper cutter with a sharp blade changed everything for me, just go slow or you'll get jagged edges. Good tools make all the difference when you're doing a run, totally worth the money.

A long-arm stapler is a lifesaver for thick spines.

My old community college library had one chained to the copy room desk. The librarians would use it to bind together decades of local newspaper clippings for history projects. Watching it punch through a hundred yellowed pages of the "Gazette" was weirdly satisfying. It felt less like office work and more like building something that would last.
