Can we talk about the time my entire detail set got corrupted on a Friday afternoon?

I was finishing up a big set of foundation plans for a new build in Tacoma. Had about 30 custom details saved in one file. Went to save and close, got a weird error. File size showed zero bytes. My heart just dropped. Spent the next two hours trying every recovery trick I knew, even called a buddy who does IT. Nothing worked. Ended up having to rebuild everything from my paper sketches over the weekend. Lost a solid eight hours of my life. Now I save incremental versions every single hour, no matter what. Anyone else have a file disaster story that changed their backup habits for good?

Lost a solid eight hours of my life" seems a bit dramatic. It's just one weekend of rework, not like the building fell down.

Right? People act like working a weekend is the end of the world. I had to redo a whole client project last month, it happens.
