Had a major drafting error on a project in Austin last month

I was working on a residential remodel in Austin and misread the structural notes on a wall section. Ended up drawing a load bearing wall as a simple partition, and the framer caught it right before they started cutting. Cost me about 4 hours of redraws and a lot of embarrassment with the architect. Anybody else had a mistake slip through that made you double check everything after?

Oh man, I used to think checking my own work twice was overkill. One mislabeled stud bay later and I was making coffee at 11pm fixing my own drawings. Definitely changed my tune on that.

Four hours is a cheap lesson honestly.
