I finally learned why my floor plans kept getting rejected last week
After 3 years of drafting in Denver, I found out I was accidentally using the wrong line weight for structural elements because my plot style file got corrupted, has anyone else had their settings silently break on them?

Oh man, that plot style file corruption is a sneaky one. I had a similiar issue last year in my old firm where our company template somehow got a weird override that changed all my annotation scales to metric (even though we work in imperial). I spent two days redoing a whole set of drawings before I figured it out. What finally worked for me was creating a fresh CTB file from scratch and saving it as a backup on our shared drive, plus I added a quick check step to my morning routine where I print a test sheet just to catch any weird line weight stuff before I get too deep.

You know what, I actually used to think the whole "file corruption is just bad luck" thing was an excuse. But after our office lost a whole CD set because of a messed up CTB file, yeah, I totally get it now. That morning test sheet trick sounds like something I gotta start doing.
