I just wasted $45 on a 'precision' eraser shield that tore on the first use
The metal was so thin it bent trying to clean up a tiny detail on a site plan. Anyone have a brand that actually holds up?

Ugh, that's the worst feeling! I had the same thing happen with a cheap one from a craft store. It's like they're made of foil. I switched to Alvin brand shields years ago and they're solid. The metal is thicker and the cut-outs stay sharp. It's worth the extra few bucks to not fight a flimsy tool.

Made of foil" is exactly right. I always thought they were all the same until I bent three in one week. Now I get it.

The Alvin ones I had still bent pretty easy.
