I used to think my layer naming system was fine until a project manager in Denver asked me to find a specific detail from 6 months ago.

I spent over an hour digging because my layers were just 'Level 1' and 'Level 2' instead of something like 'A-WALL-EXTERIOR-FIRE' and 'S-ELEC-POWER', which made me finally switch to the AIA standard after that mess, so has anyone else had a client request that forced a major workflow change?

Oh man, I was totally the same way. A brutal client review where nobody could find anything finally made me adopt proper naming, and it saves so much time now.

Totally feel that, a contractor's confusing email made me finally standardize my sheet names too!
