Just bought a proper drafting lamp after years of using a cheap desk light
I finally spent about $80 on a good drafting lamp with a daylight bulb and an arm that can move anywhere. For years I used a basic lamp from a big box store and it was fine, but my eyes would get tired after long sessions. The new light makes a huge difference with no shadows on my board and the color is just right. I should have done this years ago. Has anyone else found a small tool or light that made a big change in your work day?

Ever notice how we cheap out on the stuff we use for hours? A good light or a decent chair seems expensive until you realize it's the thing between you and a headache. It's wild what a difference the right gear makes.

Thomasw48, it's funny how we'll spend more on a single fancy meal than on the chair we sit in for years.
