Just realized my old line weight settings were making my prints look muddy

I used to run all my wall sections at .35mm because that's what the senior guy taught me back in 2017. Then last week I had a contractor mark up a set with red pen asking why the lines all bled together at 11x17 scale. Has anyone else had to completely redo their CTB file after realizing their default plot settings are for a different paper size than what they actually print at?

An old drafting buddy of mine spent three days fixing his CTB file because he'd been plotting everything with a .18mm pen assignment meant for a different scale. His contractor called him out after a set of foundation plans looked like someone had run them through a washing machine. He had to rebuild every single layer override from scratch and now he double checks the preview before sending anything.

Those .18mm assignments had me rethinking my whole setup too after I saw the difference at half scale.
