Pro tip: I learned a better way to handle revision clouds from a guy at a conference in Austin

I was at the CADD conference in Austin last year, and this older drafter saw me making revision clouds by hand in AutoCAD. He walked over and said, 'You're killing yourself, kid.' He showed me how to use the REVCLOUD command with the 'Object' option to trace around existing geometry in about 2 seconds. I'd been doing it the slow way for 3 years. Has anyone found a faster method for marking up PDFs for redlines?

Was it really that big of a deal?

You’re asking if it’s a big deal? Man, saving two minutes on a cloud might not sound like much, but do that fifty times a week and it adds up. What other little time-wasters did that guy point out? I bet he had a whole bag of tricks.
