Spent $120 on a cutterhead rebuild kit and it wrecked my pump
Bought one of those cheap rebuild kits off Amazon for my 10 inch dredge pump. Looked fine in the box. Bolted it up on Tuesday and by Thursday the impeller was throwing chunks. The metallurgy on the cheap stuff just isn't the same. Cost me a whole weekend and another $300 for a proper replacement from a local shop. Anybody else get burned by off brand parts?
