Wasted $800 on a cheap cutter suction dredge pump liner
Bought a no-name pump liner off a surplus site 6 months ago to save money. It wore out after 80 hours of regular sand work, started losing pressure fast. My old OEM part lasted over 300 hours easily. The cheap one cost me more in downtime and labor to swap it twice already. Anyone else get burned by off-brand wear parts?

Buddy of mine did the same thing with a pump impeller.

it's wild how something so simple can cause such a mess lol. i've noticed that pattern all over the place honestly where people think a part is just a part and they can swap it out without thinking about how the whole system is set up. like my neighbor tried to fix his dryer with a belt from a different model because it looked close enough and it shredded within a week. it's always the little details that get you, the stuff you don't think matters until everything goes sideways. makes you wonder how many things in life we break just by assuming close is good enough you know?
