Realized I've been taping my inside corners wrong for years after a job in Asheville

Three years ago, I was finishing a basement in Asheville and the homeowner asked why I didn't pre-fold my paper tape. I always just creased it by hand on the wall. He was a retired taper and showed me his method: fold a whole box of tape at home on a table, using a metal ruler for a sharp bend. I tried it on the next room and it cut my corner time by maybe 30%. The line was just cleaner and faster. Anyone else have a little trick like that for speeding up corners?

Ever tried to pre-fold a box and just made a mess, bencampbell? I'm pretty sure I'd slow the whole line down.
