Switched from hand carrying mud buckets to a 5-gallon pump pot on my last job in Nashville
Used to waste 20 minutes each hour refilling my pan from a bucket on the floor, but after I bought a $45 pump pot at the supply house three months ago, I just strap it to my belt and keep taping without stopping, anyone else try one of these yet?

Bought one three months back and it cut my refill time in half on drywall jobs.

Hang on @the_joel, is that with the standard paddle mixer or did you swap to a different one? I keep hearing mixed things about whether the regular drywall mud attachment actually saves that much time on refills. Just trying to figure out if the hype is real or if people are just excited about new gear.

oh totally, i feel like this is the same thing that happens with every new tool attachment. everyone gets excited and claims it's a game changer, but half the time it's just because they finally upgraded from a super old setup so anything would feel faster. idk, i've noticed people get hyped about stuff like this the same way they do about those fancy caulk guns with the auto-advance, it works great until the mechanism jams and you're back to doing it the old way anyway.
