Lost power at the food court kiosk for 3 hours last weekend

I run a little photo booth rental out of the old kiosk near the food court at Westgate Mall here in Tucson. Last Saturday around 2pm the whole wing went dark, breaker trip or something. I had to cancel 4 bookings and refund about $120 total because the backup battery only lasted 45 minutes. Is there a way to run extension cords from another outlet without tripping things again?

Extension cord is a fire waiting to happen. Talk to mall maintenance about adding another dedicated outlet.

Read a news article about a nail salon that burned down because of an overloaded power strip in a mall. The owner said the extension cord was always warm to the touch, and they figured it was fine. Turns out a single cord feeding a vacuum, two dryers, and a space heater is basically asking for trouble. Mall maintenance will probably drag their feet, but a permanent outlet is way safer than playing with fire.
