People keep calling that old mall in Jersey 'abandoned' but it's not
Saw someone post about the Monmouth Mall again saying it's totally dead, but I was there last week and the movie theater still has lines on Friday nights lol. Have any of you actually been inside recently or just judging from the empty parking lot?

Man, my buddy Dave went there last Saturday to catch a matinee and he said the concession stand had a 20 minute line. He told me there's still a solid crowd for the early shows, not packed but definitely not dead like people claim. The food court was mostly empty though, just the pizza place and that one chinese joint holding on.

20 bucks says that Chinese joint is only holding on cause they sell the best crab rangoon in town, but the owner is probably 70 and his kid doesn't want to take over. I swear every dying mall has that one old school pizza place and a Chinese spot that's been there since 1987 and nobody knows how they're still open. The theater holding a crowd makes sense though, mall theaters are usually the last thing to go since they're cheap and you don't gotta deal with parking. Just don't think about how that 20 minute line means they probably had one teenager working the register.
