Appreciation post: My neighbor's comment about his old house made me check my own insulation
I was talking to my neighbor on 87th Street last week about his place. He said he finally redid his attic insulation after 15 years and his heating bill dropped by almost $100 a month. That hit different because I've been putting off checking mine for ages. Has anyone in Edmonton had a similar win with an old insulation upgrade? Wondering if it's worth the hassle right now.

That $100 drop sounds like a fluke. Insulation is a huge upfront cost that takes years to pay back.
