Why does nobody talk about the cost to fix a cracked sewer line in Edmonton?
I just paid $8500 to replace a collapsed section under my front yard, which was way more than I budgeted. Has anyone else had this done and found a decent contractor?

My neighbor had the same thing happen last fall. He said the price was a total shock because you have to dig up the whole yard. That $8500 figure sounds about right from what I heard, it's a huge job. Finding a good contractor is the real trick, some companies charge way more for the same work. I remember him saying to get at least three quotes before you pick someone. It's a nightmare expense that just comes out of nowhere.

Yeah, getting three quotes saved me too. I found a smaller local crew that did it for way less than the big companies wanted.
