Hit 10,000 feet of wire pulled in a single week last month and my hands still ache

Saw a thing online about how pulling wire that fast can actually mess up your grip strength for months if you're not careful. One electrician I follow on YouTube said he tapes his fingers with that cloth athletic tape before big pulls, helps a ton with the blisters. Also read somewhere that using a wire puller with a swivel head cuts down on the hand strain by like half. Maybe try a magnesium spray or something for the ache, I've heard that works for muscle recovery in the hands.

Honestly this connects to something I see everywhere now. People act like grip strength is just for deadlifts or rock climbing but it's one of those things you don't think about until it's gone. You open jars, carry groceries, twist doorknobs, all that stuff relies on your hands working right. Mess up your grip for a few months and suddenly simple tasks turn into a whole ordeal. It's like when people ignore their posture until their back locks up. Little preventative stuff saves you from big problems down the line.
