I finally admitted my wire stripping method was a total waste of time

I saw a new apprentice in Charlotte zip through a junction box in half the time I take, using a different grip on his strippers. Anyone have a video link for the proper technique?

Saw a forum thread last year where guys argued about the pinch grip versus the pull method. That apprentice probably learned the faster one on day one, right? Makes you wonder what other basics we overcomplicate.

Funny you mention it. A buddy of mine spent a week learning the pinch grip wrong.

Totally agree with you @jones.grace... I just picked the way that felt right and stuck with it.
