Pro tip: I stopped using my linesman's to twist wires and got a proper twister

I mean, I used to just grab the ends with my pliers and spin them, but after a job in Asheville last fall where I had to do like 200 splices, my hand was killing me. Now I use a Klein wire twister, and it's way faster and way more consistent. Anyone else made that switch, or do you still prefer the old way?

Ever try twisting wires with your teeth in a pinch? Did that once on a trailer light, regretted it for a week. Your Klein tool sounds smarter.

Felt that zap right through my jaw, like a tiny lightning bolt to a tooth. Learned my lesson and now keep a cheap pair of strippers in every vehicle, just in case. That Klein tool is basically my safety blanket for anything electrical now.
