Had a customer bring in a vintage radio with a wasp nest inside
The choice was either to carefully remove the nest with a vacuum and risk the angry residents, or to seal the unit in a bag and freeze it overnight. I went with the freezer method, and it worked perfectly, no stings. Anyone have a better way to handle live insect infestations in old gear?

Why not just vacuum them out?

Man, I feel that. Tried it once and it was a total mess, honestly. The bag just filled up with dust and they got stuck in the hose. Ended up having to take the whole thing apart to clean it, which was way more work. Sometimes the simple fix just makes a bigger problem.
