That $60 hot air rework station was the worst purchase I've made

Bought it off eBay to save cash and the thing couldn't even hit 200c consistently. Has anyone found a reliable budget station under $150 that actually works?

Used to think any station under $100 was fine until I borrowed a friend's cheap one and watched the temp drop 30 degrees mid-solder. That changed my mind real quick. The Quick 861DW often goes on sale around $130 and it's been rock solid for me.

Temp drop 30 degrees mid-solder" is brutal, totally with you @carter.julia. I grabbed a cheap one off Amazon and had the same nightmare, the hot air was like a lukewarm fart.
